Turn Trash into Treasure - Recycle Children's Books
The North American Taiwanese Women's Association (NATWA) is running a program to Turn Trash into Treasure, Recycling Children's Books. The NATWA has been sponsoring this program since April of 2004. As of today, they have collected over 200,00 children's books from public libraries and schools in New Jersey. These books have been shipped to remote areas across Taiwan and have benefited more than 250 schools and libraries.
Perhaps during your "Fall Cleaning," you come across some children's books you no longer need, please consider donating them to this program. It will help share the joy of reading with children around the world!!
If any Montville residents, have children's books to donate to NATWA, please contact Agnes Wu at (973) 316-1241 or email - agnescwu@gmail.com. Thank you in advance.
