“Midnight Blue” Rocks Montville Township as Part of Recreation Department’s Concert Series

MONTVILLE TOWNSHIP - Mandatory Outdoor Watering Restrictions Until Further Notice

ImgresTo all Montville Township Residents and Businesses: 2015 saw the lowest local rainfall since 2001, which was a severe drought period. Rainfall measurements for 2016 are 4 to 5 inches below normal through July. The continued drought conditions, compounded by the high temperatures, have created an unusually high demand on the water system, particularly for lawn sprinkling. NJDEP has also issued a drought watch for northern and central New Jersey due to the lack of rainfall in the State. In order to assure that there is sufficient water for all customers for their normal domestic and business needs, it is necessary at this time to institute the following:

Rails Steakhouse Earns Wine Spectator’s 2016 Award of Excellence

Former Long-Time Towaco Fire Official Passes

Pic1Former Towaco Volunteer Fire Department Chief William Mazzucco passed away on June 27. He was 73. Born and raised in Towaco, Mazzucco was the oldest active member of the department, having served for 55 years, said his wife of 51 years, Donnis.
