Little Mustangs Pre-school at Montville High for ages 3-5 from Feb. 16 to Jun. 9

Imgres The Little Mustangs Preschool, hosted by Montville Township High School (MTHS) teacher, Gayle Brown, and the MTHS Child Development II and III classes, is now accepting applications from area families for the spring semester. High school students with passions for medicine, nutrition, physical therapy, education, biology, and more are among the dedicated teens who participate in MTHS Child Development classes and who make The Little Mustangs Preschool experience an engaging and fun opportunity. These young adults create lesson plans and supervise classes for about a dozen of Montville Township’s pre-school students.

Montville Girls Basketball Seeded 6th for Morris County Tournament

Montville Science Teacher and Spouse Initiate STEM Workshop

Science teacher, Kathy Ernst, of Robert R. Lazar Middle School, in Montville, New Jersey, and her husband, Professional Bc79e01d-2665-4c50-8517-e0bb6efbebb2Engineer, Michael Ernst, share a vision for science and engineering. Respectively the two are former presidents of New Jersey Science Teachers Association (NJSTA), and the Union Chapter of the NJ Professional Engineer’s Society. Together they put into action their shared vision and launched a program that incorporates Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to enhance STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, instruction in New Jersey.

Homeless Bus Partners with Food for Thoughts Cards to Help Feed the Hungry

HomelessbusHomelesss Bus of Towaco, NJ is partnering with Food for Thoughts Cards to increase their fundraising efforts to feed the homeless in New York City. Food for Thoughts Cards is a greeting card company that gives back. Lake Valhalla Club in Montville Holds 9th Annual Polar Plunge

Montville Sports Montville High School Wrestling Starts Season Strong

MustangwrestlingThe Montville Mustangs Wrestling Team, led by Head Coach John Krip, are off to an impressive 9-3 start. The wrestlers have proven to be a strong contender for the North 1 Group 3 State Sectional Championship. One of the team's highlights so far this season was a 43-28 victory over St. Peter’s Prep who was previously ranked #13 in the state of New Jersey. Students, Faculty and Community Toured State-of-The-Art Facility

Pic2After more than four years of planning and research, Montville Township High School’s newly renovated Media Center’s doors were opened to the students, faculty and staff of Montville Township Public Schools as well as to the greater Montville community. Close to 200 gathered to celebrate the first significant upgrade to the MTHS Media Center since the building opened in 1970. Broad multi-media resources, upgraded stacks of books, flexible classrooms, indoor and outdoor reading areas, individual wireless chrome books, customized sound technology, smart projectors, 21st Century white board technology, dynamic wireless projection and much more is now available to MTHS students and faculty for research and presentations.
