St. Pius X School Shows Christmas Spirit

St piusParents and grandparents who attended St. Pius X School’s pre-K 3s and 4s Christmas show definitely left with a smile. The three- and four-year-olds sang “Little Baby Jesus” to the tune of “Itsy Bitsy Spider,” “Away in a Manger” with hand gestures, “Did you ever see a Reindeer” to the tune of “Have you Ever Seen a Lassie?”,  and many other songs. Eagle Scouts Honored by Montville Board of Education

Eagle scoutMax Kamper and Matthew Lehner were honored by the Board for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. “To achieve the rank of Eagle is a life’s work,” Board President Dr. Karen Cortellino said. “It’s a lot of work, not only for the Scout but also for their families. Legal Assistant Needed in Pine Brook

This is not a paralegal position, but rather one in which the selected candidate will handle phones, create and edit documents, and provide general secretarial and clerical support. The selected candidate will be knowledgeable and proficient with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word Styles, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Apple mail, calendar and contacts. Familiarity with QuickBooks, PACER and Fastcase or similar technology is a plus. Excellent keyboarding skills, good spelling and grammar are required and will be tested before an offer of employment is tendered.

Montville Nursery School Introduces FULL-TIME Programming in The Giggle Zone!

ThegigglezonePBJC Nursery, located at 174 Changebridge Rd, Montville, is excited to announce the Grand Opening of The Giggle Zone!  Beginning September 2016, we will be expanding our already vibrant and stimulating preschool program to accommodate the needs of parents who require longer hours.  Children ages 18 months to 5 years can now enroll in The Giggle Zone, an expanded care option (hours available from 7:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.) to complement our current preschool classes.

Montville Doctor Named Sports Chiropractor of the Year

DuddyDr. Michael Duddy of Montville has been named the 2015 New Jersey Sports Chiropractor of the Year by the New Jersey Council on Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation. Duddy grew up in Montville and graduated Montville Township High School. He was elected to the MTHS Hall of Fame in 2005 and he attended attended Seton Hall University and New York Chiropractic College. Six Montville Youth Attain Eagle Scout Ranking

Eagle scoutBoy Scout Troop 74 of Montville Township held a Court of Honor on Dec. 13, and inducted six Scouts into the ranking of Eagle Scout. Jonathan Abramson, Daniel Ackaway, Thomas Ackaway, Casey Hojecki, Cameron Poole and Brandon Wong were awarded their Eagle Scout pin and kerchief after years of work and a major community project. Group IIIA National Champions Featured in Montville Town Planner Calendar Second Year Running

TownplannerThe Montville Township High School (MTHS) Field Corps and Marching Band are featured in the just-released 2016 Montville Town Planner calendar. The MTHS Band landed the First Place USBands A-Class National Championship when they bested 27 schools in November to take the top Group III-A spot in the nation. The Mustangs’ award-winning marching band now also holds the Montville Town Planner calendar’s center position for October 2016.
