Two Lazar 8th Graders Receive Make a Difference Award

LazarstudentsEighth grade students, Alex Khalaf and Addy Ehntholt, have been awarded the 2015 Make a Difference Award.  The award is provided by the Pathways for Exceptional Children Program in conjunction with the Robert R. Lazar Middle School Make a Difference committee. Each year two eighth grade Lazar students are selected and celebrated for their outstanding abilities to make a difference. April 27 - Morris County Freeholder Candidates Debate

Morris County Freeholder Candidates Debate April 27th - 7 vie for 3 seats!

DebateThe Montville Township Republican Club will host a Morris County Freeholder debate on Monday, April 27 at 7pm at the Montville Senior House at 356 Route 202, Montville NJ.

All Morris County Republicans and those voters un-affiliated to a political party can attend this event. Pizza and refreshments will be served.

Morris County Freeholder candidates for the 3 open seats in the June 2nd primary are "Morris First" John Cesaro, Christine Myers, Angelo Tedesco; "Morris Conservative Team" John Krickus, David Scapicchio, Deborah Smith; and "Empower County Services" Thomas Mulligan.

    Please take this opportunity to meet the candidates and hear them debate the issues.

MTHS Environmental Club Shares Earth Day With Valley View

Nick Liao is the President of the Montville Township High School Environmental Club who Earthdaydeveloped hands-on conservation program for 5th graders. The junior is also a Valley View Elementary School alumni. On Wednesday, April 22, 2015, Liao and ten other members of the MTHS Environmental Club came to MTHS to celebrate Earth Day. The eleven high school student have been working all year to create an interactive, educational, event to teach elementary students about conservation. The Gloria Foundation Fundraising Event

WatersidepicThe fundraising event for the Not for Profit Gloria Foundation will be held on Wednesday May 20, 2015 from 7—10 pm. MONTVILLE TOWNSHIP HISTORICAL SOCIETY PRESENTS: “Annie Oakley: Aim for a High Mark”

Annie Oakley: Aim for a High Mark” is a play reenactment that is part of the “Glimpses of the Past Program Montvillemuseum Series” at the Montville Township Historical Society’s program, The play is scheduled for Monday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Montville Township Senior House, 356 Main (Rt 202), Montville. This activity is funded by the Horizons Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities. The reenactment is a first-person living history presentation by Kim Hanley of the American Historical Theatre.All are invited and admission is free. ShopRite STARS Honored by Montville Board of Ed

Shoprite all starsAt the Montville Township Board of Education (BOE) meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, the Montville Township High School (MTHS) Assistant Principal, Kenneth Nadzak, presented the 2014-2015 ShopRite STARS for the third marking period. The BOE meeting was held at MTHS. Each marking period, five ShopRite STARS students are nominated in writing by faculty members. The recipients are selected by an administrative committee.
