Pathways' Rock Band Singing 'Burnin' Up' at PNC Bank Arts Center

A Montville-based rock band that brings together student mentors with students who have disabilities Rockband Logo cracked took the stage with the Jonas Brothers at PNC Bank Arts Center last week. Class Ranking Policy to be Decided by Montville Twp. Board of Education

Montville's San Gennaro Festival/Carnival Sept 5th - 8th

Montville UNICO Foundation is presenting its annual cultural celebration to the local area…SAN Montville Unico GENNARO FESTIVAL/CARNIVAL …on September 5-8th at 90 Horseneck Road, Montville, NJ 07045.The original festival was started by Italian immigrants from Naples, Italy wishing to honor their patron saint, St. Gennaro. Continuing the tradition, Montville UNICO will celebrate Italian culture and food with 4 days of rides, games, food, live entertainment, and more. Festivities will begin Thursday, Sept. 5th, at 6pm-10pm, Friday 6pm-11pm, Saturday 12 noon-11pm, and Sunday 12 noon-6pm. Parking is available on site. This is a family event with the proceeds going to continue our over 20 year funding of educational grants, community services, disease research, aiding the disabled, holiday donations of food, gifts and clothing, and much more. Montville Man Sentenced to 12 Years for Clifton Home Invasion

Calling him “disgusting” and “despicable,” a state judge sentenced a Montville man to 12 years in Gavel prison Tuesday for a 2009 Clifton home invasion in which he assaulted an awakened resident. Sabri Pilinci, 29, must serve at least 85 percent of the sentence before being eligible for parole. He will, however, receive credit for the nearly four years he has been in the Passaic County Jail awaiting trial. State Superior Court Judge Raymond A. Reddin in Paterson also required Pilinci to pay $20,000 in restitution for the heirloom jewelry stolen during the home invasion. Continue reading northjersey.com

Bone marrowDan Dotterweich was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer in January and needs a bone marrow transfusion to prolong his life.A father of three, Dotterweich‘s case is a rare one.“The average age of people to get this is 67 and I was 45 at the time,” he said. “So it’s even more rare.
