Montville Twp. BOE Chooses Thomas Mazzaccaro as its New Member

MazzaccaroFrom a field of three qualified and enthusiastic candidates, the Montville Township Board of Education unanimously voted to give the coveted Board seat to Thomas Mazzaccaro. The vacancy resulted in January when Jon Alin announced he was stepping down because he and his family were relocating to Florida. The Board quickly called for any interested parties to submit resumes to business administrator James Tevis. At the Feb.5 meeting the three applicants, Mazzaccaro, Michael O’Brien and David Modrak, were interviewed in public session. Two candidates were taken out of the room while Mazzaccaro, the first to be interviewed, was asked the same questions that were ultimately put to all three applicants.
