Scarves for Athletes a Special Project for Caring Crafters
The participants at the 2012 Special Olympics will be donning crocheted and knitted scarves as a way to create a feeling of unity and community. For the New Jersey athletes, many of those scarves will have been sent with love from Montville Township, courtesy of the Caring Crafters of St. Pius X Church.
Every other Wednesday morning, about 14 women meet at the church’s Ministry House and enthusiastically make the items that have been warming people’s bodies and lives since early 2010. Continue reading NorthJersey.com.
