Towaco Center Master Plan draws controversy
Critics object to building on Montville aquifer - The unveiling of a revised master plan for Towaco
Center at Thursday's planning board meeting again drew concerns from those opposed to building over the township's primary water source, the Towaco Valley Aquifer.
"We're all for them putting in sidewalks and lighting and making modest improvements to existing properties, but to build on top of the main aquifer, the only drinking water that Montville has, will cause a major problem," said Towaco resident Michele Caron.
Caron, vice chairwoman of the township's environmental commission and member of the former Towaco Village Study Committee, voiced her concerns with commission members Hugh Merritt and David Cotter. See Daily Record and discuss on Montville Blog.

Maybe it's my computer, but the maps and figures don't come up with the Towaco Village Center PDF file. Can you please look into it? The file is virtually useless without the maps and figures.
Thanks,

You've got 95 more parking spaces than daily riders of the train now. (Maybe more than that if riders are dropped off or more than one rider per car uses the station.) Don't see why you would need more. We already have a beautiful area for community events so there is not a need for another. Sure, make a few improvements, but the extensive master plan as outlined is over the top.
