Wanted: Guest Authors

OurMontville.com is seeking guest authors to post articles on this website.  The invitation is open to residents of the town of Montville, NJ.  Each month the editor will select one or more guest authors whose posts will be featured.  The choice of content is up to you. Examples are news, political commentary, restaurant reviews, history, parent and children, cooking, fiction, poetry, art, photography, and amateur video.  Contributors of all ages are welcome.

Interested parties should submit a list of proposed topics, a writing sample, and contact information to editor@ourmontville.com.

How about building a great skate park? Skate boarding is a legitimate sport and a park, much like the ones you see in California, would provide a place for kids to enjoy a sport they love. Not everyone is a baseball or soccer player and it's a shame this town doesn't recognize other, less mainstream sports.

Go to Community Park any night and you'll see a bunch of kids skateboarding. It'd be great if they were offered a true Skate Park.
