Towaco Competitors Stack Up
8-year-old sets record- The cups were flying Saturday as Ian Higgins displayed his mas
tery. With Ian at the game table, the other competitors stopped to watch, his mother Lori focused the video camera, and other adults at the Towaco Civic Association first annual field day smiled and shook their heads in amazement and admiration.
Rows of three cups stacked on one another. Then a stack of six cups flanked by two stacks of three. The formation stood briefly as Ian, 8, "downstacked" and began a cycle stack, hands flying, cups rising, then collapsed into one stack of 12.
When he finished the game, Ian had set a speed stacking world record in the cycle stack of 9.16 seconds. See Daily Record.
