Montville Beats Pequannock in Baseball
Mustangs Now 15-3! - It was a fastball, up, in and mighty tempting to any cleanup hitter. It was also Jim DeZao's favorite dish. The Montville first baseman devoured it, sending it well over the left field fence for a three-run home run that was so big, so stunning, that it seemed to deliver a second-inning knockout blow to two-time defending Morris County Tournament champion Pequannock. 
The Mustangs went on to a 7-1 victory on Sunday and will face Delbarton in the MCT semifinals at Horseshoe Lake Park in Roxbury either Thursday or Friday night.
