Truck Cuts Power on Changebridge Road

Hundreds of residents and area businesses lost power Wednesday when a tractor-trailer makValero_fireing a delivery to a Changebridge Road business snagged power lines near the entrance, snapping two utility poles, and sparking a fire.  No one was injured, but officials say it could have been disastrous. The accident occurred minutes after a tanker delivered a full supply of fuel to the Valero gas station adjacent to Barry's  Pharmacy, the delivery site.

Montville VFW Keeps a Memorial Day Tradition

Mustang Stampede!

Montville's team effort leads to state victory; Mustangs now 23-6! - Bilde As "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N' Roses roared through a pair of speakers just a few feet from where he was sitting, Montville's Charles Matarazzo voiced concern while watching his teammates bounce around energetically during pre-game warmups. "I don't think we need to get any more pumped," he said.

Two hours later, Matarazzo's worries proved needless. Montville crushed Morris Hills, 12-2, in five innings, thriving off the strength of its big bats and steady glovework.  See Daily Record.

The TCA heldPicnic its 5th General Meeting on May 25th at the Church of the Transfiguration. Attendance was 42 members and 3 guests.
