Eagle Scout Honors America's Veterans

Justin Pagano's honor: a Purple Heart monument - Justin's first thought about bringing a Purple Heart monument to Montville was typical of any 16-year-old boy seeking to reach the highest level of Boy Scouting. Frank Warholic, post commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5481 in Montville, said Justin fulfilled an almost impossible task.

"Justin's goal was he wanted to leave a legacy to the town of Montville, and this was his way of doing it -- by presenting the Purple Heart monument here,"said Warholic, whose post acted as the Color Guard on Sunday.  Read Daily Record.
