Sophomore Girl Breaks Boys Record Too!

High When Montville's Chrissy Finkel made her third attempt at 11 foot, 1 inch at the Valentine Invitational on Wednesday, she grazed the bar. Finkel thought it might fall but it didn't.  A record fell, though, as Finkel, a sophomore, established Morris County, meet and school records in girls pole vault.

"At 11-1, Chrissy is now seven inches higher than any boy at Montville High School has ever jumped," Coach Mark Philhower noted.  See Daily Record.
